Who is like a Father?
Who is like a Son?
Who is like a Spirit?
Trinity, by tradition:
God as Creator
God revealed in Jesus of Nazareth;
God present in the Holy Spirit;
relational, community.
Source of life,
Word of life,
Breath of life.
But perhaps…
that is to attempt description
of a mystery.
Unable to find the words
we look for symbols.
Banners, graphics, sculpture,
music, movement, sound and smell,
pointing to the mystery of God.
Trinity,
not something to be explained.
Rather, a symbol of holy mystery:
God.
