CONSIDER
(Luke 12:13-31)
The reading set in the Revised Common Lectionary ends with v.21. However, in v.22 Jesus continues speaking, “Therefore…” The following ten verses, at least, relate directly to the previous nine.
Take time to query
life, the universe and all
the stuff we possess.
Life is more than food,
the body more than clothing,
Life is for loving.
Love God and neighbour,
taking faint steps but eager,
following Jesus.
