LIVING IN THE MOMENT
(Matthew 24:36-44)
But about that day,
the Teacher said, and that hour,
no one knows but God.
An instant, a blink,
changing one’s life direction:
how do we respond?
Perhaps that depends
on living in the moment,
alert and watchful.
God is not wanting
to catch us out since that’s not
the nature of God.
And in any case,
it might well be that, like us,
neither does God know.
