MODELLED MISSION
(Matthew 9:35-10:8)
Jesus taught, proclaimed
and healed, modelling mission
for his disciples.
Sent out, the twelve cured,
cast out, raised up, proclaiming
the nearness of God.
The marginal ones,
the lost sheep cared about, loved,
in practical ways.
We are to live this
practical, compassionate,
hard way of Jesus.
