STUFF HAPPENS
(Job 1:1; 2:1-10)
Job was afflicted,
loathsome sores from tip to toe,
yet did not blame God.
Some people still say
when disaster strikes in life,
“It’s the will of God.”
Why do they blame God?
Bad things happen to good folk,
good things to the bad.
Stuff happens in life:
not reward, or punishment,
for life justly lived.
