PROPHET
Isaiah 6:1-8, (9-13)
As was Isaiah,
we are called to speak the words
some won’t want to hear.
Challenging today
the word-wars on climate change,
voice, treaty and truth,
Harshly questioning,
why the rich should get richer
while the poor get poorer,
Damning policies
which punish the unemployed,
those without shelter.
Self-examine hard,
before you volunteer,
‘Here am I; send me!’
