Habakkuk, troubled
by injustice, wrongdoing,
cried to God, “How long?”
Living in such times
Habakkuk’s question is ours.
Where is our relief?
Relief is promised:
we can help make it happen
while watching, waiting.
And what does God ask?
Living by our faithfulness
and a right spirit.
