Esther risked her life
to block her people’s slaughter;
gain their acceptance.
Minority groups,
ageless favoured punching bag
of mainstream cultures.
Feared through ignorance,
ridiculed, treated as ‘threat’,
considered ‘other’.
Take the risk and live
supporting, advocating
for their inclusion.
