PROMISE, HOPE, FAITH
(Jeremiah 32:1-3, 6-15)
The city besieged,
Jeremiah imprisoned,
yet he purchased land.
Bought from a cousin,
law was kept; hope, faith expressed;
God’s promise announced.
Seemingly absurd,
some notions, even today,
become grounds for hope.
And they become so
through the actions, commitment
of faithful people.
