BEARING FRUIT
(John 15:1-8)
Soil, sun, rain and care
urge growing vine, budding branch,
to bring forth much fruit.
Jesus keenly urged
such organic harmony
in discipleship.
He abides in me,
and I live in him, daily,
trying to follow.
