PRESENCE
(Ezekiel 37:1-14)
Ezekiel preached
at God’s behest, the bones moved
and breath gave them life.
Exiled Israel
heard words of restoration,
the presence of God.
Jesus followers
needed to be reassured
despite the promise.
Blow, spirit, wind, breath,
rushing wind and tongues of flame
the presence of God.
In the day-to-day
am I open to sensing
the presence of God?
