CHOSEN AND CALLED
(Luke 1:26-38)
Do not be afraid;
strange words from the man-of-God*
and quite disturbing.
Mary and Joseph,
minding their own business
and then… she’s pregnant!
Still today God calls,
ordinary folk respond,
the world is surprised.
