AND SO TO EASTER
(Isaiah 25:6-9)
Isaiah held out
words of hope, better times,
an end to exile.
Jesus’ followers
hiding, devastated, numb,
when Jesus was killed.
Sorrowing, confused,
but then together sensing
a living presence.
How do we respond
when catastrophic events
devastate our lives?
