THE JOURNEY
(Genesis 12:1-9)
Abram heard God’s call,
leaving the familiar
for the great unknown.
His age against him,
a barren family, wealth;
hardly promising.
Yet Abram embarked
on an insecure future,
bearing God’s promise.
Following Jesus
each day perhaps also takes
such a leap of faith.
