His teaching amazed
but then they remembered
he’s a local
the carpenter.
Pah!
And their unbelief amazed him.
(He could do no deed of power
except for a few… )
Whereupon
this prophet without honour
in his hometown
took the good news
to others
sent his twelve closest
out
with authority
and little else
and they proclaimed
and cast out and anointed
and cured.
Lord, I believe,
help my unbelief.
