COVENANT FAITHFULNESS
(Genesis 17:1-7, 15-16)
God’s two requirements,
“Walk before me; be blameless,”
guide Abraham’s life.
Did Abraham doubt
God’s covenant faithfulness,
walking before God?
Sometimes doubts emerge
as if we have bitten off
more than we can chew.
But God is faithful
and walks with us in the hope
that we walk in faith
This is not to say
we live without misfortune
but that God is near.
